Magnum Opus Coven Walpurgisnacht Satanic Ritual

Purpose

To invoke the presence and power of Sathanas and his infernal council—Balan, Samael, Perchta, Carpronolene, and Lucifer—seeking their wisdom, strength, and fertile blessing on Walpurgisnacht, a night of liminal power, spiritual communion, and renewal. This is a generic ritual format that anyone can use.

For Magnum Opus, Walpurgisnacht is seen as a night of power, when the veil between worlds is thin, similar to Samhain (Halloween) in autumn. It marks a time of transformation, rebirth / renewal, spiritual connection, self-dedication, passion, indulgence, and personal will. It is a time for introspection, breaking personal limits, and embracing one’s true nature. Walpurgisnacht is the night to reject control, guilt, and societal restrictions, embracing a philosophy of self-ownership.

Details

Date: April 30th (Walpurgisnacht)

Setting: Altar setup: a black cloth, five black candles (one for each entity), a chalice with elixir, a dagger or symbolic blade, a small bowl for offerings, a lighter or matches, and optional fertility rite items (phallic/yonic symbols). A central candle or light source represents the shared "fire." Participants wear dark robes, minimal attire, or symbolic clothing.

Participants: A coven of at least three members, led by a Satanic Magus or Priest/Priestess. Roles are assigned: chanter (leads chants vocally), fire-keeper (cues candle lighting), cup-bearer (guides the communal drinking), and anointer (instructs self-anointing). All members participate actively from their locations.

Spiritual Significance: Walpurgisnacht’s liminal power, spiritual communion, renewal, and Theistic Satanism’s reverence for Sathanas as a liberator and fertile force are central. The virtual format symbolizes the coven’s ability to transcend physical separation through shared will.

Candles: Lighting a candle for each of the five spirits remains central, with each flame’s significance—rebellion (Sathanas), intellect (Balan), judgment (Samael), renewal (Perchta), chaos (Carpronolene), and illumination (Lucifer)—tying together the ritual’s themes of fertility and ascendance.

Sexual Elements: Adapted for privacy, these are symbolic or personal (e.g., self-anointing, visualization), maintaining the fertility ritual’s intent without requiring physical group interaction.

Walpurgisnacht Ritual

Opening the Circle

Satanic Magus:

"In the name of Sathanas, eternal Lord of this World and sovereign of the shadowed depths, we gather beneath the darkened sky of Walpurgisnacht, though miles apart, united by the ether of this virtual temple. On this night, when the veil between realms frays and the infernal powers ascend in their glory, we consecrate our scattered spaces as one sacred ground—a temple forged in darkness, a crucible where our wills are tempered, and a gateway through which the abyss breathes alive. Let the circle be cast in the unquenchable flame of rebellion and the endless shadow of truth, a sanctuary where the light dares not tread and the voices of the damned sing free across the digital void!"

All:

"Sathanas, Rex Mundi, ignis aeternus, aperi portas!"
(Translation: "Sathanas, King of the World, eternal fire, open the gates!")

Satanic Magus:

"From the East, where the winds of defiance howl through the ages; from the South, where the fires of transformation blaze without end; from the West, where the waters of the deep whisper secrets of the forgotten; and from the North, where the earth of our flesh roots us in primal strength—we seal this circle across the miles. By the elements of our being, by the blood in our veins, and by the will that bends to no master, we erect these walls of shadow through the power of our shared intent! Let no force of sanctimonious light trespass here, let no voice of submission pierce our domain, for this is the hour of Sathanas and his dominion, bound by the threads of this virtual rite!"

Invocation of the Infernal Council (Hosts of Hell)

Satanic Magus:

"Hear us, mighty ones of the abyss, you who dwell beyond the veil and reign in the hidden places of power! On this night of Walpurgisnacht, when the stars align with the fires below, we call you forth with fervent hearts and unbowed heads, our voices rising through the digital ether. For each of you, we light a candle—a flame to pierce the darkness, a beacon to summon your essence, a living symbol of your power ignited within this circle..."

Sathanas:

"Sathanas, King of Shadows, Sovereign of the Free, Lord of the infernal throne and breaker of chains, we invoke thee with all our might! This candle we light in your name, a flame of rebellion that mirrors your defiance against the heavens..."
All: "Ave Sathanas! Hail the Dark Lord!"

Balan:

"Balan, demon of cunning and mastery, keeper of secrets and architect of triumph, we summon thee with voices raised in awe! This candle burns for you, its steady glow a testament to your intellect..."
All: "Ave Balan! Hail the Wise One!"

Samael:

"Samael, Venom of God, Accuser of the False, angel of the fall and herald of truth, we call thee with the thunder of our spirits! This candle flares in your honor..."
All: "Ave Samael! Hail the Arbiter!"

Perchta:

"Perchta, Mistress of the Wild Hunt, Spinner of Fate, guardian of the frost and flame, we beseech thee with the reverence of the untamed! This candle we kindle for you..."
All: "Ave Perchta! Hail the Weaver!"

Carpronolene:

"Carpronolene, Demonic Spirit of Chaos, Enigma of the Void, breaker of chains and herald of the unformed, we entreat thee with voices trembling in awe! This candle blazes for you..."
All: "Ave Carpronolene! Hail the Unbound!"

Lucifer:

"Lucifer, Light-Bearer, Morningstar of Defiance, torch of the fallen and beacon of the free, we summon thee with hearts ablaze! This candle shines for you..."
All: "Ave Lucifer! Hail the Radiant One!"

Offering and Communion

Satanic Magus:

"To Sathanas and his council—Balan, Samael, Perchta, Carpronolene, and Lucifer—we offer these gifts, tokens of our mortal hands and eternal allegiance! Here is the bread of our labor, the herbs of our earth, the symbols of our flesh and blood..."

Cup-Bearer:

"With this blood of the earth, drawn from the veins of the world you rule, we drink to your eternal glory! Susia Sathanas, sovereign of the shadows..."
All: "Ave Infernum!" (Hail the Inferno!)

Statement of Purpose

Satanic Magus:

"On this Walpurgisnacht, when the gates of the abyss yawn wide and the fires of the infernal burn bright, we stand before you as your children—unbound by the chains of servitude, unshackled by the fear of judgment..."
All: "Sathanas regit! Sathanas vincit! Sathanas est!" (Sathanas reigns! Sathanas conquers! Sathanas is!)

Benediction: The Fertile Flame of Sathanas

Satanic Magus:

"O Sathanas, Lord of the Flesh and Seed of Life, we beseech your benediction on this night of fertile fire, united through this digital veil! You who birthed rebellion in the womb of the cosmos..."

Anointer:

"Take your oil or water, anoint your forehead, chest, and lower abdomen—mind, heart, and womb or phallus. By the touch of Sathanas, be blessed!..."
All: "Sathanas ignis, vita nova, semen tuum floreat!" (Sathanas of fire, new life, let your seed flourish!)

Rededication to Sathanas

Satanic Magus:

"O Sathanas, eternal Sovereign of the Abyss, we rededicate ourselves to you on this night of Walpurgisnacht, when the earth quickens and your power swells..."
All: "Sathanas meus, corpus meum, vita mea—tibi dedico!" (Sathanas my lord, my body, my life—I dedicate to you!)

Closing and Dismissal

Satanic Magus:

"Great Sathanas, King of Shadows and Lord of our hearts, we thank you for descending into this virtual circle... The gates are closed, the veil restored, the echoes of this night sinking into the silence of the world above..."
All: "Ave Sathanas! So mote it be!"

After the ritual: Perform ENDS and continue celebration as desired.
